BCom Announces Rebecca Johnson as Rural Partnerships Director

BCom Solutions, the digital agency for rural America with office locations in Auburn and Lincoln, Nebraska, is pleased to announce the hiring of Rebecca Johnson as Rural Partnerships Director.

Starting her career at Peru State College in Peru, Nebraska, she previously worked at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Business and most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas.

Johnson said of her hire, “I am excited for a new chapter to focus on rural development with BCom. I have a passion for education and economic development and seeing the revitalization of our rural communities. We are seeing a national trend of returning to rural communities and I know that BCom will be a huge asset for communities and business to grow and thrive.”

As Rural Partnerships Director, Rebecca will oversee all marketing and outreach efforts to our national rural customer base, in addition to coordinating rural community relations in Auburn and other satellite locations. Rebecca will also lead programming for the Rural Impact Hub, BCom’s social impact center located in Auburn, Nebraska.

Johnson holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management from Peru State College and lives in Auburn, Nebraska with her husband, Tony, and two sons, Jack and Max. She will maintain an office at BCom’s Rural Impact Hub in Auburn.

A welcome reception for Rebecca will be held on Tuesday, January 14th from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at BCom’s Auburn office (919 Central Avenue). The public are invited to attend.
