Kate Bolz for Congress
From the time the borders of Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District were drawn in 1883, more than 20 men have served this region in the House of Representatives.
Two in a row were named William. Four were named John (nearly 20%). And by the year 2020, Congressman Jeff Fortenberry had served for 16 years straight.
In the centennial year of women’s suffrage, state senator Kate Bolz interrupted this stale cycle of male leadership to offer eastern Nebraska voters a bold, articulate second option.
