A Digital Production Revolution

We now offer full-service virtual event production!

Every presidential election cycle in recent memory has shifted traditional campaign strategy in some way. 2020 was no different, but this turbulent year had a lot less to do with emerging digital tactics — and more to do with an unprecedented public health crisis.

Mere days into the coronavirus pandemic, the BCom team pivoted to meet our candidates where they are: Looking for ways to connect without knocking on doors, shaking hands or hosting in-person events.

The Show Must Go On

Prior to 2020, no one ever bothered to include the descriptor “in-person” when discussing events. The pandemic and ensuing national instability has only heightened the importance of human connection.

That’s why events such as fundraisers, conventions, town halls, debates and public forums should never be canceled. Not when they can be virtual instead.

Our digital production team has hosted more than 300 virtual events for political candidates and organizations to educate voters, build grassroots coalitions and raise money. Our virtual events range in size from just a few attendees to thousands of participants.

Nebraska Democratic Party Convention

We proved the strength of our digital production strategy when the Nebraska Democratic Party needed a partner to host its first ever virtual convention.

Our team’s swift thinking and attention was critical in coordinating dozens of leaders and candidates scattered across multiple locations in one live event streamed to thousands of viewers on Facebook.

Common Cause New York

Our team has also worked with state and national nonprofit partners, including Common Cause New York, to produce virtual events ranging in size from a few dozen to a few hundred participants.

These events often include multiple small group breakout sessions.

In each of these instances, BCom provides day-of production and technical support, allowing the event’s organizers to focus on more important things — such as connecting with participants!

Digital strategy will continue to evolve — but our team won’t stop intercepting it in real time. It’s true that virtual event production is different from in-person event coordination, but they still have great potential to be both exciting and dynamic. Pandemic or not, virtual events have proven successful. Contact us to plan yours today!
